Locals in Askar refugee camp, West Bank, inspected the damage after Israeli forces demolished the house of a dead Palestinian militant.

The house of Abdel-Fattah Kharousha, 49, was destroyed on August 8.

Israeli forces claim the 49-year-old, who was killed during a raid on the Jenin camp on March 7, had shot and killed two brothers in February.

STORYLINE:

Israeli forces Tuesday blew up the house of a slain Palestinian in Askar refugee camp, east of the West Bank city of Nablus.

Israeli forces stormed the Askar camp and surrounded the house of Abdel-Fattah Kharousha, 49, and blew it up six hours after the raid.

He stated that the Israeli soldiers forced about 60 Palestinians, including 20 children, whose houses were adjacent to the home of the Kharousha family, to leave their houses, and briefly detained them in a mosque.

The house of the Kharousha family is located on the third floor of a residential building, with an area of 150 square meters. Six people reside in the house.

Large forces of the Israeli army stormed the eastern region of Nablus, and surrounded the house of the family of slain Palestinian, in Askar camp, while violent confrontations broke out between dozens of Palestinian youths and the occupation soldiers.

It is noteworthy that Kharousha, 49, was killed by the Israeli gunfire during the aggression on the Jenin camp on March 7th.
