A woman has revealed that she loves being pregnant so much that she now offers her womb for hire – for £31,500 ($40,000).

Yessenia Latorre has been pregnant three times with her own children and once as a surrogate.

Although she would like to have another child one day when she is ready, in the meantime, the mum is offering her womb to rent to help other parents.

Enjoying the feeling of being pregnant, she now offers herself as a surrogate mother – though it will set the prospective parents back a fair bit.

Sharing her surrogacy journey online, Yessenia, from Atlanta, Georgia, US, has gathered 17,500 followers on Instagram (@mamayessenia ), with one video gaining over two million views.

Now, over 100 families have reached out to Yessenia, asking for her help, with hundreds of women asking her for advice on becoming a surrogate.

“I am planning to be a surrogate again very soon, I can't wait to do this again,” the 26-year-old surrogate educator said.

“I wish people understood that most surrogates are not in it for the money.

“We see the money as being a bonus to changing a family's life in a priceless way.

“I wish more people would see surrogacy as a beautiful thing because that's what it truly is.

“Family is something really important to me and I'm proud of what I have done.

“I don't regret anything.

“After my children, I missed pregnancy so much.

“I really love everything about pregnancy.

“I enjoy having a baby bump, going to doctors' appointments, feeling baby kicks.

“After I had my son, I was very happy with the family I had but I would always feel like I wanted to be pregnant again.”

Yessenia first fell pregnant with her son Tyson (5), giving birth in 2017, before once again falling pregnant in 2018.

Sadly, she experienced a miscarriage after five weeks.

The sad experience led her to want to become a surrogate for other people struggling to carry a child.

Yessenia said: “I wanted to become a surrogate mostly because of my previous miscarriage.

“When I had my miscarriage, I was devastated.

“It changed my life forever, I felt so alone.

“I felt so hopeless but at the same time, I felt grateful to even have one child because so many people cannot conceive.”

She gave birth to her second son, Trey Junior (3), in October 2019, but instantly missed the feeling of being pregnant.

She said: “After I was done breastfeeding my son, I was ready to help another family right away.

“I felt like I wanted to give back to others.

“When I signed up for the [surrogacy] agency, they sent me profiles that fit the type of family I was looking for.

“I wanted to work with a family that wanted a relationship with me and will allow me to see the baby in the future – that was very important to me.

“I also wanted to help a mother that couldn't have a child.”

After finding a family, the surrogacy process began in October 2021, taking eight months from sending off an application to transferring the embryo to her womb.

Before the transfer, Yessenia had to undergo a psychological evaluation, a medical screening, ultrasounds, blood tests and a month of taking medication to prepare.

She said: “Everyone was very supportive but they were apprehensive because they were worried about my possible emotions about everything.”

“Everyone was so proud of me in the end.

“The support was overwhelming at times.”

As a first-time surrogate, she made $40,000 (£31,500), as well as payments for medication, the embryo transfer and a maternity clothes allowance.

In total, expecting parents will pay between $100,00 and $200,000 (£79,600 to £157,200) for the process.

Yessenia gave birth to a healthy baby boy in February 2023.

She said: “I did not find it difficult to give the family their baby.

“I was so happy to have done this for them.

“I was very happy to have time with the baby and the family and that was perfect for me.

“I will be able to see him in the future and his mom sends me pictures of him every week it really makes me happy.”
