Extreme log jam: Thousands of trees cover river's surface as flash floods hit Vietnam
Thousands of trees pushed back by flash floods filled the river, making it impossible for boats to move in Lai Chau, Vietnam.
According to locals, flash floods suddenly appeared on the mountain, carrying a lot of trees and rocks, causing the river to be filled with thousands of trees on its surface.
Because the surface was filled with trees and rocks due to flash floods, boats were unable to move to the affected area to complete rescue operations.
Residents said it would take several months to clear the trees that were swept from the mountains by flash floods.
