Activists in Majorca protest bullfighting, lying half-naked with horns on their heads under the sun.

Footage shows topless protesters in Placa de Cort square, Palma de Majorca, brandishing signs and chanting "Majorca is against bullfighting."

The event, marking the start of the bullfighting season, drew around 100 participants. Anima Naturalis, an animal rights group, criticized conservative promotion of such spectacles and highlighted declining interest. Official data indicates dwindling attendance, with only 8% attending in 2018-2019. Despite this, thousands of bulls still face exploitation and death.

Concentrated mainly in certain provinces, bullfighting has been abolished in some regions.
