A first-time mum captured the heartwarming reaction of her brother when he realised she named her newborn son after him.

Izzy London, 25, gave birth to little Jett Kaden London, seven weeks old, on June 20, 2023, and decided to use her brother's first name as Jett's middle name.

Her brother, Kaden London, 29, was filmed visiting Izzy and his newborn nephew in - just hours after baby Jett arrived.

The footage shows Kaden struggling to hold back tears as he reads Jett's full name for the first time - on a sign on his crib.

Izzy says she had the idea of naming Jett after her brother from the moment she told him she was pregnant.

Izzy, a construction estimator, from Ogden, Utah, US, said: "When I told my brother that I was pregnant his reaction was so special that it was in the back of mind."

"And then a month before Jett was born, I decided to name his middle name Kaden as I knew I was having a boy."

"I had a couple of middle name ideas but that was always my number one throughout."

"He said that it means so much to him, but he can't think about because then it makes him emotional."

"When I told the rest of my family, they were so excited and thought it was so special for my brother."

Kaden said: "I was truly at a loss for words when I saw that he was named after me - I felt honoured to say the least."

"It means the world to me that Izzy would use my name. "

"For her to think highly enough of me to name her baby after me is the best gift a brother could ask for."

"I have the fun responsibilities, I get to be involved because Izzy and Jett allow me to be. "

"That means doing all the fun things an uncle gets to do with his nieces or nephews and I’m honoured to be able to be along for the ride with them."

Izzy says Kaden is "motivated and not afraid to show he cares" and says she just "had" to name Jett after him."

She said: "He is very motivated and when he's got big projects to do, he gets them done and does an amazing job and that's why he'll be able to teach Jett a lot."

"My brother is also not afraid to show that he cares, which is really amazing as most men don't show that."

"My brother will be a strong male influence for my son."

"The way that he was the whole time I was pregnant, it just confirmed to me that I had to name his middle name after him."

"He even said when I first told him I was pregnant that he had the responsibility to take over that role."
