A driver built this ingenious life hack using screaming chicken toys to help him park his car in his garage.

Driver Xu Jiamao attached the row of eight rubber toys to the wall of his home so they squeak in unison each time the car's bumper touches them.

He said the trick helps to prevent scratches on his precious MG car in Taichung, Taiwan.

He said: 'The parking area is narrow so I put eight screaming chicken toys in the parking lot. Every time I hear the toy squeak, I know my car is safe.

'I would roll down the window while parking to hear the chickens. Each toy only costs 30 yuan so in total, I spent less than 300 yuan to ensure my car is not scratched.'
