A Lizzo superfan got the singer to sign her bum before getting it tattooed – and her mum and dad got matching inkings.

Bridget Saric, 20, managed to get tickets to see her idol Lizzo at Splendour in the Grass festival, Yelgun, New South Wales, Australia, on July 21, 2023.

The fan got to the front barriers with her mum, Lisa, 44, 13 hours before the 'Good as Hell' hitmaker came on stage and had made a sign which read ‘Lizzo, can you sign my arse and I’ll get it tattooed?’.

Three quarters of the way through the set, Lizzo spotted Bridget jumping up and down with her sign and invited her over the barrier so she could sign her bum with the word ‘fine’.

Bridget kept her word and got up at 9am the next day to get it inked before it rubbed off.

Now her mum, a nurse, and her dad, Spok, 56, a disability support worker, have got matching tattoos of the Lizzo ink alongside an outline of Bridget’s bum.

Bridget, a disability support worker, from Mackay, Queensland, Australia, said: "I was looking for something I could get noticed with."

"I thought ‘I’m going to see if she’s going to sign my butt’."

"Three quarters of the way through she started talking to everyone."

"I was jumping up and down with my sign my t*tties were going everywhere and she said ‘hey t*tties, get over here’."

"I had to climb over and started twerking on stage."

"In the moment I blacked out a bit."

"I had 200 people wanting pictures with my butt after."

"I didn’t want it rubbing off because of the sweat."

"We went to the tattoo parlour at 9am the next morning."

"My mum got a tattoo on her arm too - of the outline of my butt with the tattoo."

"Now my dad has it too."

"I look at my tattoo every morning in the shower with Lizzo blasting."

"It was the best night of my life."

Bridget’s grandmother, Rosemary Sale, 80, drew a photo of Lizzo for one side of the sign she held up, with the song lyrics – ‘I’m crying cause I love you’.

Bridget said: "That was the PG version."

On the flip side Bridget wrote ‘Lizzo, can you sign my arse and I’ll get it tattooed?’ in the hopes she’d get noticed by the superstar.

The pair got to the main stage at 10am and waited in the same spot until Lizzo came on at 10.45pm so they could be right at the front.

Bridget said: "I went absolutely crazy when she came on."

"I was in tears."

Bridget was amazed when Lizzo picked her out from the crowd and got her over the barriers to sign her butt.

She said: "She even said we have a mole in the same place."

"She dedicated the next song to me ‘I love you b***h’."

"I love her so much."

Bridget found a tattoo studio the next morning and got it inked straight away.

Her mum, Lisa - who also loves Lizzo - got a matching tattoo to remember the moment.

Bridget said: "We got home at 4am and had a few hours sleep."

"Then I got up and said ‘let’s do this’."

Bridget’s dad decided to join and had his matching tattoo done on July 31, 2023.

Bridget said Lizzo has been a big influence for her: "I love everything she stands for."

"I’m a big girl myself."

"She made me love myself and not care what others think."
