The Portland woman who’s taking the Home Office to court over the Bibby Stockholm barge has reached the £15,000 needed to make the challenge happen.

The legal challenge being brought by Mayor of Portland Carralyn Parkes against the Home Office over the Bibby Stockholm barge has now reached its target.

Portland resident Carralyn Parkes has launched a legal challenge against the Home Office for the placement of the Bibby Stockholm at Portland Port. She is seeking a judicial review on the grounds that planning permission was neither sought nor granted.

Carralyn is the Mayor of Portland, but is doing this in her personal capacity.
