Due to the flood water receding from the roads in different areas of Bandarban, the picture is emerging in the order of damage. Due to heavy rainfall for six consecutive days, the water of Sangu and Matamuhuri rivers crossed the limit, causing floods in almost all upazilas of Bandarban.
According to the sources of the flood control room of the district administration, eight people have died in the district till date due to landslides, landslides and mud houses collapsing. Two are missing and 17 injured. 21 thousand 797 people took shelter in 207 shelters in seven upazilas.
