The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom History Museum is located on Zhanyuan Road, Qinhuai District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. It is located in the core area of the Qinhuai Scenic Belt of the Confucius Temple. It is a specialized museum for collecting, preserving, displaying, promoting, and researching cultural relics and historical materials of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom in China. It is also the only specialized museum established by the Chinese government for the history of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom.
Politically, Hong Xiuquan improved the official system, built the Wang Mansion, and established the commander of the Five Armies; In terms of economy, the "Tian Dynasty Land and Acre System" was promulgated, striving to abolish feudal land ownership; In terms of culture, he reformed the imperial examination system and abolished the "Four Books and Five Classics"; In terms of religion, he maintained the independence of the worship of God and resisted the religious infiltration of foreign powers; On the principle of sovereignty, no unequal treaties signed by the Qing government were recognized and they actively resisted imperialist aggression. The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement led by Hong Xiuquan swept through most of China, lasting for fourteen years and dealt a heavy blow to both domestic and foreign reactionary forces, leaving a profound impact on modern Chinese history. Hong Xiuquan made great contributions to the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom movement, and even Sun Yat sen claimed to be "Hong Xiuquan second"
