Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged of an allegedly drunk man causing chaos on a bus and injuring a passenger who tried to call the police.

In the video, captured on the bus security cameras in Shandong Province last week, the man wearing a cap keeps shouting at the driver when paying his ticket despite the persuasion from other passengers.

When he notices a male passenger at the front door is calling the police, he suddenly takes out a small knife-shaped item and stabs onto his head before quickly running off the bus.

According to news reports, the man was smelt drunk when he got on the bus and had been asked to move inside by the driver which was believed to spark his temper.

The injured passenger was soon sent to a local hospital without serious injuries. Local police have reportedly carried out an investigation on the incident.
