Amazing Massive Powerful Storm Prompts Tornado Warning In Graves County Kentucky Shortly After Passing Over Paducah, Kentucky
A large number if severe storms rumbled their way through the midwest and southern states Saturday morning (8/12/23) This storm showcases a storms completely unpredictable nature. One minute the storm isnt 'as' bad as I have seen in the past on radar but as it passed directly overhead it quickly developed to became one of the most intense storms I have seen so far. I was able to see rotation low to the ground in a field in McCracken County that shortly turned into a tornado warning in Graves County, Kentucky a few miles later. The awesomeness and power of the storm was absolutely amazing. My heart jumped put of my chest a few times while observing this storm. I whole heartedly believe it is not a question of "will Paducah be hit by a tornado" but "when". I say this because of the sheer uptick in frequency of severe weather in this neck of the woods. After being injured in tornado in 2019 I have felt a change in our weather and since then I have done my best to draw attention to this change to help people be more prepared by having a plan. I still believe we can change our fate, I just do not quite know how yet.
