Newborn turtles born in the Oceanografic Foundation's incubator mark the season's start at the Valencia aquarium.

Hatched in facilities in Valencia, these tiny sea turtles were the first from this year's nest on Marineta Cassiana beach, Denia. Out of 14 eggs transferred to the foundation, ten have successfully hatched. After birth, the turtles underwent vet checks, measured at an average of 3.9 meters in length and 13 grams in weight.

They will be transferred to a specialized water tank for feeding and swimming exercises. This birth follows the discovery of another nest on El Saler beach, with 62 turtles born on August 7th. Of these, 55 entered the sea, and seven joined the foundation's project. Eight nests have been registered on Valencia's coast this season, with more expected from various locations.
