Jet ski rider crashes into paddleboarder on lake in China
This is the shocking moment a jet ski rider allegedly deliberately crashed into a woman who was paddleboarding on a lake in China.
Ms. Wang was kneeling on the board while a friend recorded her in the city of Zhengzhou, Henan province, on August 10.
However, the extreme watersports enthusiast appeared to lose control of the vehicle as he sped towards her, unable to stop or steer away.
The rider crashed into Ms. Wang and knocked her unconcious into the water. Her friend helped to pull her to safety but the rider left the scene.
Ms. Wang suffered a bruised face, swollen eye, a chipped tooth, a bruised shouler and knee from the crash.
Ms. Wang said she swam to shore with the help of a friend and went to a local hospital.
Speaking after, she said: 'The jet ski rider didn't even apologise to me.'
Ms. Wang said the jet ski rider had nearly crashed into her shortly before the incident and she believes the crash was intentional.
She added: 'I clearly said after the first incident, 'don't get too close to me'. When I saw him approaching I yelled to him and laid down flat on the board. He hit my head and knocked me out.
'The next day my eyes were so swollen that I couldn't open them. My optic nerve was damaged and my shoulder and knee were swollen and bruised. A piece of my tooth was also smashed.
'I called the police at the time but they said it was not under their jurisdiction, so the investigation is ongoing.
'How can anybody watch the video and tell me that is not intentional?'
