The 33rd Food Expo hosted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) opened here on Thursday, bringing exquisite delicacies and joy for the public in the Public Hall and the Gourmet Zone at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Public Hall showcases global cuisines and dining options from around the world and various local exhibitors.

The Gourmet Zone brings together nearly 100 businesses, focusing on the fine cuisines from Asia, Europe and the United States.

The event resumes on-site tasting, bringing a lively atmosphere, and the exhibitors feel confident about their businesses.

The visitors are not only Hong Kong residents, but also domestic and foreign business people looking for opportunities.

"We are manufacturers, so we come here to have a look. Hong Kong's market is open and has lots of different things for us to learn. After coming here, I feel like the whole market has come back to normal."

"We hope that we can attract some new customers and see old ones at the event. We also have many new products from Spain, such as seafood paella, soup cooked over a wood fire, and rice.
