State trooper injured after out-of-control vehicle slams into his car in Connecticut

A routine traffic stop took a dangerous turn when a police officer was injured in a collision in Hartford, Connecticut.
The incident occurred on August 13th, as a State Police trooper was conducting a traffic stop on I-84 East near Exit 50.
While parked in the right lane, a car traveling in the center lane crashed into the rear of the trooper's vehicle. Dash-cam footage captured the red Subaru sliding and colliding with the cruiser, propelling it into the stationary car ahead. The impact resulted in minor injuries to the trooper, who was promptly transported to the hospital for medical attention.
The driver of the Subaru faced charges for multiple violations related to the incident.
