Frustrated boy wrecks TV screen with wooden sword post ad break in China
A frustrated boy wrecked a TV screen with a wooden sword post ad break in southwest China.
CCTV footage filmed in Zunyi City in Guizhou Province on August 16, shows a boy reaching for a wooden sword atop the TV cabinet, inadvertently shattering the television screen as an ad suddenly appeared to interrupt an animation that he was watching.
The boy's father, Mr He, later revealed that he took to remote surveillance to impart a lesson. Despite the physical distance, he virtually guided his child to apologise to the TV.
He explained that at the time of the incident, neither parent was home; both children were engrossed in their animation when an ad unexpectedly played.
The sudden irritation led to the regrettable mishap. Through the surveillance system, Mr He engaged in a conversation with his child, compelling him to kneel before the TV for an hour, offering an apology.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
