A dozey delivery driver forgot to pull the handbrake - leaving his minivan to roll into a car park and crash into a wall.

CCTV footage shows the young worker pulling up in front of a shop in the town of Ningbo, in Zhejiang, eastern China, at around noon on August 13.

He parked the loaded vehicle at the entrance of the underground parking lot and strolled into the business wearing his shorts and flip-flop sandals.

But almost immediately, the silver minivan began rolling backward as the driver walked away, unaware that he had forgotten to pull the handbrake.

The vehicle slowly rolled down the steep slope and picked up speed before scraping against the wall.

Seconds later, it crashed into a concrete pillar which forced the boot open, causing the cargo to fall out.

Dozens of glass bottles scattered across the ground as another vehicle backed away to avoid running over them and accidentally blowing a tyre. No injuries were reported from the accident.
