STORYLINE:

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which has contributed to economic development, job creation and improvement of people's livelihood in many parts of the world.

Experts in Argentina have spoken highly of the initiative, believing that it has brought many positive changes to the world, based on the principle of shared benefits.

"The countries in the region (Latin America) have realized that through this initiative, they can address major issues of their development and achieve more inclusive, harmonious, comprehensive, and sustainable growth, etc.
A significant number of countries in the region have substantially increased their bilateral trade with China, and as bilateral trade has grown, they have discovered other interesting synergies in terms of worldviews and shared values. I believe that this has further brought the countries in the region closer in bilateral terms with China."
