"Africa has benefited from both trade and investment from China. China is an important and responsible member of the international community, so we look at China with hope and with interest always."
She observed that international trade in general is important for countries and especially for small and medium-sized countries because it plays a role in providing employment and improving wages. Grynspan said that China can help Africa enhance its global trade sector.

"What I would like to see is a more complex trade also developing and I think China can help in that because they have developed technology, they have the supply chains and I think the relationship between Africa and China would evolve also in that respect."
