Footage has emerged from China of a driver being rescued by firefighters after she backed her SUV down a subway by mistake.

In the video, captured in Fujian Province on Wednesday, the SUV can be seen rushing off the road and falling down into the subway.

When the Firefighters arrive, they had to break one of the back doors of the vehicle to rescue the woman before taking it away on a tow truck.

Fortunately no injuries were reported in the incident, according to local media.
