I work for the largest and most successful lumberjack show in the world that recruits top-level athletes from all over the country. We do a variety of events such as logrolling, speed climbing, sawing, and chopping. Standing block is my favorite chopping event in timber sports. It’s the simulation of felling a tree with an axe. It takes power, accuracy, speed, and extreme concentration. I ended up winning this chop as I severed the block in half before my opponent."
