Aerial panoramic view of Zhenbeibao Film and Television City, Yinchuan City, Ningxia.
Yinchuan has been built for 2121 years. Due to its three major characteristics of the ancient capital of Western Xia, Hui ethnic customs, and the Jiangnan region, it was announced by the State Council as the second batch of national historical and cultural cities in 1986, ranking among the 110 historical and cultural cities in the country.
There are numerous historical and cultural relics distributed in the ancient city, which reflect the development and changes of various historical periods in Yinchuan. Zhenbeibao West Cinema, located in Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, is a scenic area that integrates sightseeing, entertainment, leisure, catering, and shopping. There are two ancient castles in Zhenbeibao West Cinema, one south and one north, named Zhenbeibao and Zhennanbao, both facing west and east. The Western Cinema of Zhenbeibao is characterized by its rustic, primitive, rugged, desolate, and folk style. In the western cinema of Zhenbeibao, scenes and props from some of the films taken have been preserved and restored for visitors to watch. The exhibited scenes include a series of scenes such as the City Gate Tower and the City Gate Cave Pansi Cave in "Journey to the West", as well as the "Heavenly Collapse and Earthly Rupture" during the fight between Sun Wukong and the Bull Demon King.
