STORYLINE:

A Chinese animation and comics exhibition is being held in the Jordanian capital Amman, showcasing some 80 original artworks from Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province. 

The four-day event, named Irresistible Comics 2023-Chengdu Excellent Cartoon and Animation Works Exhibition, offers glimpses of Chengdu's culture and the Chinese animation industry.

"Animation and comics, I believe, can serve as a bridge of culture, a bridge of hearts and minds, and a bridge of friendship. I hope the exhibition will showcase the latest development of China's animation industry, and foster dialogue and collaboration between Chinese and Jordanian professionals, students, and youth in the animation community."

The event, co-hosted by the China Cultural Center in Amman and Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broadcast-TV and Tourism, will conclude on Wednesday.
