"My name is Roman, I'm from Russia, and now I live and work in China, in Changxing, Huzhou city, Zhejiang province, a beautiful city next to Taihu Lake and not far away from Shanghai, only 200 kilometers away.
I came to Changxing at the end of 2014, and I like this city very much. I joined Noblelift Intelligent Equipment by the end of the year and became a member of the company. And actually, at that time, I felt quite a high level of support from local authorities and also from the company. So my transition from Russia to China was without any issues. And I started to work progressively and smoothly without any issues at all."

In 2015, Roman and his family settled in Changxing.

"The government talent office department visited me quite often. They quite often give calls, asking what kind of help and support the government can offer to me. They also ask for some suggestions, what I can offer from my opinion for better development, make life for foreigners more convenient here. Also they are sharing some information about policies which are available for foreigners: how I can, for example, purchase an apartment, and what kind of medical support and social security as well as education for kids I can get here in Changxing. The company also takes great care of me, always supporting me if I need some help. That makes me feel that I have not any issues and Changxing became sort of my second home."

Roman has been a frequent guest at government-organized forums and salons for international experts in recent years.

These activities have helped him reflect more deeply on his own field of expertise and gain a better understanding of his industry.

"Me and my team were engaged in the development of several successful projects, like the Edge series of pallet trucks and stackers, and a series of Class-3 products, and these products, each of them actually won several quite significant awards."

Roman and his colleagues' achievement serves as an example of Changxing's commitment to attracting and serving talent, as China highlights the role of expertise and technology in its pursuit of high-quality development.
