Everyday People (EP) is a community, an event series, and a cultural platform. Labeled by Vice as “The World’s Coolest Day Party,” EP is a pioneer in bridging the musical, aesthetic, and cultural worlds of the global diaspora into a cohesive celebration of black joy.
This footage illustrates ambulance and police at the early end of the "Everyday People" event. Witnesses said the event was at capacity and then people rushed the gate, after which the event was stopped early. This footage was filmed at Rumsey Playfield, Central Park, NYC, 8:02 pm, Sunday, August 20, 2023.
