SUV narrowly escapes falling rocks on Chinese highway
A driver skillfully swerved to avoid the onslaught of falling rocks in southern China.
The heart-stopping dashcam was video filmed in Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province on August 23.
According to Mr Liu, the driver of the following car, he promptly hit the brakes upon noticing the unusual situation and then reversed to a safer distance. Although a full landslide didn't occur, his vehicle was still struck by small falling debris, leaving him quite shaken.
In retrospect, he admired the driving skills of the preceding car's driver, and after waiting for a while to feel secure, he bravely navigated through this treacherous road stretch.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
