A 4-year-old girl saved family crops in the downpour in southwestern China.

Heart-wrenching footage filmed in the city of Anshun in Guizhou Province on August 23, shows a girl rushing out calling for her grandmother and trying to rescue the corn and chillies in the rain.

On her grandmother's return, the brave child holds back her tears, running to help.

Mr Liu, the child's father is working in Zhejiang Province. He's left with no choice but to leave his daughter with her parents.
