The Libyan capital Tripoli is hosting the Arab Youth Muay Thai tournament with the participation of more than 200 athletes from 15 Arab countries.

"We would like to thank Libya for the wonderful hosting and organization (of the tournament). There is a strong competition and excitement among the Arab countries. The idea was to gather (athletes) from all over the Arab world in the Arabic country Libya. There are 15 Arabic countries participating in this tournament. It is a great achievement. We wish luck to everyone, and we thank the Arab Muay Thai Federation headed by Mr. Tareq al-Mheri."

The tournament, the first of its kind held in Libya, kicked off on Tuesday and will last until Sunday.
