SOUNDBITE (English): RONNIE LINS, Director of China-Brazil Center for Research and Business
"The intention to join the bloc is to carry out concrete actions to help create better internal conditions for the countries.
The world will only have a bright future through peace and social, cultural, economic, and environmental improvement.
All countries' global context requires deep reflection on facing significant challenges and taking advantage of opportunities to benefit their populations.
There is no possibility of success for those countries that decide to isolate themselves.
It was no surprise to me that other countries are interested in joining the BRICS. The isolationist posture of countries is doomed to failure."
