Under the National Health Mission scheme started by the Health Department of the Central Government, the National Child Health Program is proving very beneficial for the school children, 11 teams have been formed by the Health Department of Kaithal district regarding the National Child Health Program, which Going to schools and Anganwadi, she is doing complete health checkup of the children.Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr. Vikas Dhawan said that 11 teams constituted by the Kaithal Health Department are visiting schools and Anganwadis every day and doing a complete health checkup of the children. He told that this team consists of a lady doctor, a mail doctor and other health department employees. He told that the location of all these teams remains with him as to which health team is doing the health checkup of the children at which place.Dr. Vipul Singhania and Lady Doctor Dr. Nidhi said that the health of the children is being thoroughly checked, the record of which is being recorded in the child's record card as well as the health department's computer. He told that a complete health checkup is being done for the 18-year-olds, in which the health of the children including their weight, height, eyes, nose is being checked completely. He told that many times children do not tell their illness to their relatives, due to which later this disease becomes serious.School teacher Rajneesh Sharma said that the health department team is coming to the school to check the health of all the children properly, he said that this scheme of the government is very beneficial for the children of poor families. Schoolgirls Neelam, Neha and Purva said that the health department team is visiting their school to do a thorough checkup of their health.
