Crowd density peaks at Notting Hill Carnival as nearby road is closed due to 'crushing incident'
The crowd in Ladbroke Grove swells as revellers continue to pack into the parade route, on the second day of Notting Hill Carnival (August 28).
Just shortly before this footage was filmed, a crushing incident was reported in Kensington Park Road leading to it being made one way only.
Crowd surges occured as groups of people came along the parade route, following behind particularly popular floats, adding to others in a slow-moving packed crowd and existing revellers in the area, heading towards the direction of Ladbroke Grove tube station.
