A woman who moved into a newly rented home showed how the two seemingly different bedrooms were only separated by a large closet.

The female tenant claimed she only became aware of the home's unique interior after she rented it in Shanghai, east-central China.

Shortly after moving in, the woman said she began cleaning when she stumbled upon a second door in the back of the wardrobe.

Footage taken on August 25. shows that by opening both sides of the wardrobe, the two seemingly separate rooms become one giant room joined together by the vast opening.

The woman laughed at the bizarre design fail and later joked that she could pretend the inside of the wardrobe was the living room.
