In a harrowing incident at an ASDA petrol station, a man is reported to have "slit his own throat" on Thursday, August 31st at around 16:00 local time. Eyewitnesses at the scene described the event as deeply distressing and immediately alerted emergency services.

East Midlands ambulance paramedics, the air ambulance and police arrived swiftly, providing medical assistance to the injured individual. The man was subsequently rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care. His current condition remains unknown.
