This footage was filmed and produced 25 June 2023.

The Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) of Guatemala made official the triumph of Bernardo Arevalo by declaring him as president-elect for the period 2024-2028. But in a simultaneous and completely contradictory action, the Registry of Citizens of the same TSE temporarily suspended the legal status of Movimiento Semilla, the party of the elected presidential binomial.
The suspension request had been extended since July 12 for an alleged case of false signatures that would have been committed during the creation of the party in 2018, investigated by prosecutors sanctioned by the U.S. State Department.
The Organization of American States (OAS) denounced that the provisional suspension of the Seed Movement of Guatemala has "no basis or duly demonstrated reason" and warned that it violates constitutional principles and international norms.
The organization indicated that the Registry of Citizens of the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) "intends to suspend the rights" of the political formation after it has had "broad popular support", in what it considers "an abusive interpretation of the law".

Ths footage illustrates streets of Guatemala City, Guatemala, Bernardo Arevalo's press conference during election day, announcement of results and people voting on election day.
