Indian art scoops spot in Guinness World Records for smallest wooden spoon
Indian micro-artist Shashikant Prajapati has earned himself a spot in the Guinness World Records by crafting the smallest wooden spoon.
Prajapati, based in Bengaluru, is seen showing off his latest creation which measures a tiny 1.6mm (0.06 inches) - breaking the previous record of 2mm.
According to Guinness World Records, to be eligible for this record, the spoon must be a to-scale replica of a standard wooden spoon, meaning it must have a clearly evident bowl and handle.
The craftsman failed to meet the design requirement 10 times before achieving this copy.
Prajapati started micro art in 2015 during his first year of college. He aspires to gain recognition solely through these unique artworks, as his passion lies deeply within this craft.
