Gruesome moment woman eats live octopus at restaurant in Thailand
This is the gruesome moment a woman ate a live octopus at a restaurant in Thailand.
Footage shows the customer gnawing on the mollusc that was desperately trying to crawl out of her mouth, using its tentacles to grab on her chin and mouth in Bangkok on August 7.
The frightened sea creature squirted ink, which smeared the woman's lips and blackened her teeth, but continued chewing on the animal.
With a few more bites, it died and floated motionless on the stainless steel bowl with water as the customer went to enjoy the dish - served as a delicacy in some Asian countries such as South Korea and Japan - by dipping it in spicy sauces.
