A brave Railway Protection Force policeman came to the rescue of a passenger who lost his balance while trying to board a moving train in northern India's Uttar Pradesh.

This incident happened at platform number 3 of Aligarh railway station on September 4.

CCTV footage captured the chilling moment when the cop reacted in quick time to save the man who had fallen while getting on the moving train (15485 Mahananda Express). Identified as Khurja Railway Protection Force Assistant Deputy Inspector Vinod Kumar, he ran fast to catch up to the man who was being dragged by the moving train as he held on to its handle. The man was about to fall into the gap between the train and the platform and Kumar, without caring for his own life, ran fast alongside the train and managed to save the passenger's life by pushing him into the train.
