In a modern dating twist that even reality TV couldn't script, a local woman found herself dining solo after her date was flabbergasted by her culinary preferences. The rendezvous was at Kaspas in Derby, a place known for its dessert delights—not exactly the turf you'd expect to see a raw steak.

Unwilling to stick around for dessert—or the main course, in her case—her date hightailed it out of the eatery, leaving her to foot the bill. "Yeah, he walked out, but I was fine with it because I had my steak. Mmmm," she said, savoring the memory.

While her dinner companion missed out on potentially the most 'rare' date of his life, the woman remains unfazed.
