US: One Killed, Multiple Shot, Stabbed At West Indian Day Carnival Parade In Brooklyn, NYC

Multiple shooting and stabbing incidents occurred along the West Indian Day Carnival parade on Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, New York, on Monday, September 4.

A man reportedly shot himself in the leg near Franklin Avenue at around 4:30 p.m., suffering a non-life-threatening injury.

About an hour later, another man was shot, and two others were stabbed in a fight near Rochester Avenue while a 33-year-old man was slashed in the left arm near Albany Avenue around 4:45 p.m. A 51-year-old man was fatally shot three blocks from the parade route three hours after the end of festivities, according to reports.
