Car unexpectedly starts during refuelling, toppling pump and igniting blaze in China
A driver prematurely started his vehicle while refuelling, causing the fuel dispenser to topple and ignite in southern China.
The dramatic video was filmed in the city of Xiangtan in Hunan Province on September 1.
Upon discovering the fire, gas station staff swiftly initiated emergency protocols, immediately shutting off the main power and lighting circuits, and organizing personnel to control the fire. In just 30 seconds, they successfully extinguished the flames. Thanks to their prompt response, there were no casualties in this incident.
Currently, the accident is under further investigation and handling.
