Along the coast of south China's Guangdong Province, China's self-developed offshore wind turbines continued to operate during Typhoon Saola, which made landfall in the city of Zhuhai at 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 2, with maximum wind speeds of 42 to 46 meters per second near its eye.

The wind farm has not only been intact but also achieved the conversion of unusable wind into green electricity, effectively increasing power generation.
