Chilean Embassy in Argentina inaugurates memorial in honor of victims of the dictatorship in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Coup d'Etat in Chile and the 40th anniversary of the return of democracy in Argentina, the Embassy of Chile in Buenos Aires inaugurated this Tuesday a Commemorative Memorial located on a wall of the diplomatic headquarters, which contains the names of 101 Chilean people detained, disappeared and politically executed in the neighboring country.
The ceremony was attended by the Ministers of Justice and Human Rights of Chile, Luis Cordero, the Minister of Justice and Human Rights of Argentina, Martin Ignacio Soria, the Secretary of Human Rights of Argentina, Horacio Pietragalla, the Ambassador of Chile in Argentina, Barbara Figueroa, the President of the Association of Relatives of the Politically Executed of Chile, Alicia Lira, the President of the Association of Relatives of the Detained and Disappeared of Chile, Gaby Rivera, representatives of the Mothers and Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo, among them, the Chilean Buscarita Roa, and political, social and human rights representatives of both countries.
