A sand artist has created a Joe Biden installation to welcome the US president to India for the G20 Summit.

Sudarsan Pattnaik used a couple of thousands lamps to decorate the artwork that was completed on a beach in Puri, Odisha.

International sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created sand sculpture by installing 2000 diya to welcome US President Joe Biden for the G20 summit Puri beach, Odisha on September 7( Thursday).

The sand sculpture created by the sand artist at Puri beach has mentioned message "Welcome to Bharat ".

Sudarsan has created a 6ft high sand sculpture of Joe Biden and a logo of G20 by using around 2000 mud diya.

He said about 5 tons of sand used in this sculpture and students of his sand art Institute joined hands to complete the sand sculpture.

The sand artist said “we always welcome our guests with diya aarti, so I have created this sculpture by using Diya , to welcome the U.S President.

Sudarsan had in the past also created a sand sculpture of US President Joe Biden when he had won the presidential election.
