Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni said Wednesday that Lionel Messi will play "as many minutes as he can in these matches" against Ecuador and Bolivia as home and away, respectively, for the first and second date of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.
"I spoke with Lionel (Messi) when he arrived, I see him happy as everyone sees him, he found a place in the world where he is loved. Messi is happy on any soccer field. I see him well. He is available to play and we are happy to have him," said the DT at the press conference.
