Railway Protection Force (RPF) cops came to the aid of a man who had slipped and fallen while boarding a moving train in northern India's Uttar Pradesh.

This incident happened at platform number three of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya junction in Mughalsarai on September 6.

CCTV footage showed the man being dragged by the train (13484 New Delhi- Malda-Farakka express) after he had slipped and fell. The railway cops quickly rushed and attempted to help him. The train was brought to a halt in a while as a huge crowd gathered at the spot.

The man, identified as a 35-year-old named Prabhat Prakash Shah had attempted to board the train and had slipped and fallen on the footboard. Holding to the handle of the train's door, he then got stuck between the platform and the footboard and was being dragged by the vehicle. He was eventually saved by the cops as they ran alongside the train and managed to stop the vehicle. Later, the railway doctor was informed, and Shah, who reportedly said he was feeling well then went to Patna, where he was initially headed to, in another train.
