Just days before the G20 Summit in New Delhi, the Tibetan community in the Indian capital took to the streets to protest China's "illegal occupation of Tibet." Organized by the Tibetan Youth Congress, the rally aimed to send a message to world leaders gathering for the summit. "We are proud that India is hosting the G20, but we are protesting against the Chinese Communist Government," said Tibetan Youth Congress President Gonpo Dhundup. The demonstrators urged the international community to question China's diplomatic assurances, emphasizing that a "united global effort is needed to hold China accountable." Protesters carried banners saying, "G20 Talk Tibet," and "China’s diplomatic assurances not to be trusted."

The Tibetan community in Delhi, India, launched a protest against China ahead of the G20 Summit on September 8 ( Friday).

Through this stir they want to remind G20 nations about China that its diplomatic assurances are not to be trusted.

"We wish to convey to the international community that China's trustworthiness is questionable. The independence of Tibet is crucial for India's security. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) poses a global threat. China's aggressive expansionist policies are fostering discord and violence worldwide. A united global effort is needed to hold China accountable. The Chinese president has not shown willingness to visit India and lacks the courage to face a free nation,

The protesters waved banners with slogans that read, "G20 Talk Tibet", "Tibet Matters", and "China’s diplomatic assurances not to be trusted".
