The city of Sulaymaniyah in the Kurdistan region of Iraq is hosting the first "Melody of Peoples" festival, which began on Friday, with the participation of 12 musical bands and dozens of Iraqi and international musicians and singers.
Musical bands coming from Iran, Türkiye, Syria, and Azerbaijan, along with Iraqi bands, present various musical events on the Roman amphitheater in the middle of Hawari Shar Park in Sulaymaniyah.
In addition to singing concerts and expressive dance paintings, the four-day festival includes a group of seminars and dialogue sessions discussing art and music.
