STORYLINE:

Government officials from Central Asian countries attending a major forum in China's Xiamen have hailed a broad cooperation prospect between China and Central Asian countries in a variety of fields, especially in green development.

They expressed the views during the 10th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum, which concluded on Saturday in Xiamen City, east China's Fujian Province. 

The two-day event, attended by over 400 domestic and foreign participants, aimed to foster collaborative endeavors and expand the horizons of China-Central Asia cooperation.

"Tajikistan adopted green economy development strategy, and now green economy principles are the priority of the economic policy of Tajikistan. We have big potential in solar station, and wind station, and so on. That's why collaboration and cooperation of Tajikistan with China in the green economy field is our priority. We want to bring up our mutual cooperation to a new high level."

"The cooperation between Uzbekistan and China also develops and we see many directions in our cooperation. There are (about) 2,000 Chinese companies now operating in Uzbekistan in various fields. Especially we are interested in the cooperation in solar energy projects in Uzbekistan. Our government and companies are ready to welcome Chinese companies."

Since its inception in 2012, the forum has consistently expanded the scope of China-Central Asia cooperation, evolving into a crucial platform for fostering regional friendship and promoting mutually beneficial, win-win outcomes.
