A bungling thief ran himself over after attempting to steal a tractor in Modasa, Gujarat.

A security camera captured the incident on August 30. As the man starts the vehicle, his leg becomes stuck under the giant tyre behind him.

Miraculously, the thief appears unscathed after having the tractor roll over his entire body.

He caught up to the rolling tractor and drove it away. The man was later arrested and the vehicle was found around 400 km away from the showroom.

According to police the thief barged into a tractor showroom and tried to steal away a old tractor parked which was there for exchange with new tractor, tractor was in neutral and was stopped with a brick at front tyre, as soon as he started tractor his leg got stucked and tractor ran over him , but the thief didn't stopped there, he gets up after being run over by the tractor and continues with the theft, He climbs up the tractor which was moving on its own and leaves the compound while riding on the tractor. He drove away with the tractor and left the compound.
A police complaint was filed by the owner of the showroom , The tractor was recovered after five days of the incident. There are reports that the tractor was recovered from about 400 kilometres away from the showroom in Modasa. The robber also later got arrested

The incident happened on 30th august. The entire incident caught under cctv camera installed there at showroom.
